Adult Shooters ClinicOn the second Saturday of each month, we hold a shooters clinic for Juniors and Adults. This clinic is designed for persons with previous shooting experience and provides the basic know-how that is required to safely and enjoyably shoot a Cowboy match. Persons are trained in the proper techniques of shooting single action pistols, lever action rifles, and side-by-side shotguns. The clinic also covers posse etiquette and safety along with the basic rules of Cowboy Action Shooting. You do not need firearms to attend, however you will be required to purchase your ammunition. Guns available for use during the clinic are .38 SPL pistols, rifles and .12 ga. shotguns. If you have your own, bring them. No percussion pistols. Gun leather is not required to attend the class. The class begins immediately after the 8:45 AM Shooters Meeting. Class size is limited to the first 15 people to sign up, so it's a good idea to arrive about 8:00 AM, sign up for the class,
and then you'll have some time to look around a bit. |
